Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners
Medway Talking Therapies based in Chatham, Kent
37.5 hours per week
£21,210 - £29,290 (per annum) depending on qualifications and experience.
Insight Healthcare is a highly regarded not for profit organisation and an experienced provider of talking therapy services on behalf of the NHS. The service in Medway offers counselling across the Medway towns.
We would like to hear from you if you are:
- A qualified PWP who has successfully completed an IAPT / similarly accredited PWP course (or is due to complete in the near future)
- Able to deliver high quality person-centred interventions that reflect local and national priorities and targets
- Able to demonstrate good therapeutic relationships with people
- An inspirational and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
- Committed to improving access to psychological therapies in Medway.
The successful candidate will join an established team working to maintain our excellent reputation within the area, and help to develop the service further through the delivery of innovative practice.
The service is committed to training and development to support team members in their career progression.
The post-holder will deliver a range of low intensity interventions for anxiety disorders and depression and will be full supported by a PWP Team Leader and Clinical Lead. The service offers step 2 interventions via telephone, face to face, groups and classes and computerised CBT. This position is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and self-motivated individual wishing to progress their career in psychological therapies. The person should be committed to their own professional development.
