Moors Valley Country Park
Salary: from £5.60 to £7.83 per hour
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Ranger Team at Moors Valley. You will predominantly be working in the Cycle Hire Centre but will assist with Visitor Services in others areas at Moors Valley. You will need to be available to work at weekends and during school holidays.
General duties at the Cycle Hire Centre will include meeting and greeting customers, issuing them with bikes and other cycling equipment and taking payment for items hired and giving out information on cycle trails. Cleaning of bikes, bikes servicing and other site maintenance tasks will also be required after training is given.
The ideal candidate:
- Must be willing to work at weekends (usually required to work one day of each weekend), during school holidays, bank holidays.
- Must have good verbal communication skills.
- Must be presentable, friendly and be willing to wear a uniform.
- Must be prepared to work outside, handle bikes and get hands dirty!
- Ideally have an interest in bikes and cycling.
- Ideally have some experience of working directly with customers and operating an EPOS system.
- Ideally have knowledge of Moors Valley Country Park.
