Supporter Engagement Officer – The Role
At WWF the lion’s share of our income each year comes from amazing members of the public. This makes the Relationship Marketing department absolutely vital to the success of the organisation and our ability to deliver our ambitious strategy to restore nature to its glorious best and to save our planet. We need to ensure our fantastic supporters remain engaged, thanked and inspired for the long-term! Where better to develop your skills in supporter retention and development?
Join as we launch our new strategy, this is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in making sure we build a long term connection with our supporters, on and offline but with an increasing emphasis on digital channels, particularly email. We will look to you to maximise lifetime value and engagement of our supporters by implementing and delivering key retention activity for members, adopters and committed supporters.
You will enhance your expertise as part of a team developing supporter journeys for different supporter segments, ensuring timely and relevant communications that engage and inspire. This will involve delivering wonderful direct marketing activity using great content that is on brand and keeps supporter’s experience at the heart of what we do. Important too will be the ability to monitor effectiveness, prepare reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
Supporter Engagement Officer – Requirement
You must have experience of managing fundraising or direct marketing campaigns and strong MSOffice skills. Calm under pressure you will possess good organisational skills and the ability to multi-task. You will enjoy working in a collaborative environment and a good communicator with an eye for detail. Happy to use your initiative to get things done you will have a positive attitude and are effective at overcoming problems.
Experience of using design/image manipulation packages and email builders would be an advantage.
