Chinese Speaking Central Buying Assistant North London Jobs Vacancy at Euro London Appointments London Jobs Details:
One of the leading Oriental Food Wholesale and Retail Company is looking for a Chinese Central Buying Assistant to join their purchasing team and assist the import team for daily administration and support. The location is in North London.
Candidates have to have good knowledge in administration especially Excel. The main join responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of Sage System and for the provision of timely financial information to the stores. Salary is up to 20k.
*Pro-actively manage product profiles on Sage, from supplier's details to cost/selling prices, VAT updates and keep them accurate and updated at all times
*Keep accurate daily records of all placed orders and Suppliers Purchase Confirmations
*Assist to resolve any invoice queries with accurate supplier and product records
*Liaise with the buyers and recommend the alteration of buying patterns to reflect trends, seasons, promotions, competitor activities etc.
*Ensure all EPOS queries are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner
*Act as a central point of contact, under the guidance and supervision of Buyers/Stores and Directors to collect orders for designated products from individual stores and place orders on the designated products with suppliers.
*Assist the buyer with delivery notes, invoices, insurance costings and freight documentation and update Sage accordingly
*Deal with any accounts queries and escalate these if necessary
*Carry out administrative and ad-hoc tasks requested by the Purchasing Manager
The ideal candidate:
-Excellent interpersonal skill
-Experience in Administration
-Advance level in Excel
-Excellent negotiation skills
-Analytical, numeracy and attention to details
-Highly Organised and attention to detail
-Experience in FMCG and buying environment is desirable.
