Inventory Control Coordinator Jobs Vacancy at Universal Electric Corporation Slough Jobs Details:
The Primary focus and responsibility of the Inventory Control Coordinator is maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility and the efficiency of the goods in function.
Review the current daily and weekly reports to ensure corrections are made that will preserve inventory integrity
Research material issues in both quantity and cost while correcting values and formulating corrective actions after determining root causes
Ensures that employees are utilizing materials properly and effectively
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with all departments of the organization
Receiving and inspection off all incoming goods
Book in all deliveries onto Cloudsuite
Pick and stage materials ready for production
Complete regular stock takes and track scrap materials
Promote and adhere to all company policies, guidelines and practices including the SECRIT values
Maintain KPI’s to include stock accuracy, FIFO, (first in first out) agreed stock levels, faulty/non-conforming materials, picking accuracy.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to run reports, effectively present information and respond to questions
Ability to learn Dispatch, Cloudsuite and other systems
Ability to use MS Outlook, Word and Excel proficiently
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs and Travelers
Working knowledge of quality control systems and inventory flow / control
Detail- oriented and able to work in fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, numerical, math and statistical skills
Requires a High School Diploma. College Degree is desirable, but not required.
2-3 years of warehouse or inventory experience required.
2 years of ERP System experience required, Infor Syteline/Cloudsuite preferred
Forklift license desirable (training given)
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
The performance of this position requires exposure to the manufacturing areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection are required.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Able to lift and carry up to 25KG
