This is a part time 14 hour a week post worked over two days and there is a requirement to work full time to cover sick leave, holidays and any additional office demands. Please be advised that the salary detailed will be pro rata for hours worked.
The duties will primarily involve managing the checking, receipting and recording of marriage/civil partnership notices according to legislation acting as Deputy Superintendent Registrar (SR) along with the issuing of marriage and civil partnership authorities on behalf of the SR. You will also be responsible for overseeing the legal duties in connection with British Citizenship ceremonies across the county, working closely with the Home Office.
Applicants should have a good standard of education. They will also be required to demonstrate an understanding of excellent customer care in line with our Customer Service Excellence standards and enjoy working with the public. Excellent communication skills will also be required.
