St John Ambulance is the nation’s leading first aid charity. Every year, 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes, including hundreds of thousands of young people. First aid is such a simple skill, but it has an incredible impact.
We provide a wide range of products and services to the community such as our workplace and community training, first aid support at events and our vital work with the emergency services with our ambulance operations. We generate around £100m per annum which we reinvest in delivering and campaigning for better access to first aid for everyone.
We are also passionate about campaigning to raise awareness of first aid so that everyone has access to lifesaving knowledge through our award-winning ad campaigns such as "The Chokeables" which is credited with saving at least 54 babies lives and recently won the Charity Film of the Year Award 2017.
About the Role
Are you looking for a Part Time position working for leading charitable organisation? Do you possess strong customer service skills with prior reception experience and enjoy meeting people?
St John Ambulance is currently seeking a part time receptionist for their National Headquarters based in Clerkenwell, London EC1. Working front of house as part of a team, you will be the first person guests see and therefore need to be friendly, warm and professional whilst carrying out normal receptionist duties, including meeting and greeting guests, directing incoming calls to the right department, maintenance of the reception area, and ad hoc administration.
The hours are 7.30 – 2.00 pm Monday - Friday, although extra hours may be available from time to time and we are looking for someone who could be flexible to cover holidays and sickness, if necessary. We need someone who is reliable, approachable and with great customer service skills!
