Vindis Cambridge Service Centre is one of the newest facilities within the Vindis Group.
This state-of-the art Aftersales Centre provides servicing and maintenance needs to the Volkswagen and Skoda product ranges, and has circa. 75 throughputs per day. In addition to a vast workshop area, comprising of designated MOT ramps and fast lanes, it also offers a technologically enabled and interactive customer zone, together with a bespoke childrens' area.
As Collection & Delivery Controller, you will be responsible for the logistics that underpin the collection and return of customers' vehicles, together with the daily management of approximately 10 Drivers. To coordinate the routes efficiently, effectively and in a timely manner, therefore, you need to be an incredibly organised, methodical and analytical individual, that thrives within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
It is essential that you are calm, personable and approachable, and consistently demonstrate a positive mind-set.
In additional to your daily logistical activities, you will also be responsible for coordinating the Drivers' personal reviews and supporting any development needs that they may have.
This role would suit an individual that has previously operated within a Service Advisor role, or has transferable logistical experience. A full UK driving licence is required.
