We are looking for speakers of Russian and/or Japanese for two great opportunities to join an exciting educational technology start-up, as a writer of excellent mathematics content to roll out the Russian and Japanese language sections of their digital education platforms. A significant component of the job will be translating (from English), editing, and reviewing Russian and Japanese educational content for mathematics students and teachers. These roles are based in their attractive Berkshire offices, commutable from London.
Translating (from English), editing, and reviewing Russian and Japanese educational content for mathematics students and teachers
Ensure that content is logically structured, easy-to-read, pedagogically sound, and in the right style for the intended audience
Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of all Russian or Japanese content
Advise on the roll out of content into Russian and Japanese speaking countries
Experience / skills required:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and/or experience of teaching Mathematics
Mathematical writing, copyediting, or other related experience. Preferably this would have been in Russian or Japanese
Native speaker of Russian or Japanese with excellent written communication skills
Well-organised with the ability to produce high-quality work to tight deadlines
Knowledge of mathematical curriculum, notation, and conventions in Russia and/or Japan and other countries where these languages are spoken would be desirable
