The role will focus on account management with new and existing clients - building strong partnerships with key players and accelerating business development activities across the team - primarily targeting new sprinkler opportunities in sectors that translate into profitable growth and also identifying cross selling opportunities for the wider JCI product suite.
The business development manager will identify and qualify opportunities that align with strategy and generate the most impactful activity for themselves and the team, bringing technical expertise and commercial acumen to the group.
They will be an ambassador for the commercial excellence initiatives deployed, including SOP (Strategic Opportunity Planning), SAP (Strategic Account Planning), utilisation of Salesforce.com (our CRM tool) and will lead by example in all internal and external interactions.
The key function of the role is to drive creation of high quality opportunities and conversion improvement that will translate into increased sale quality (i.e. higher volume, higher GM, more multi-solution and integrated deals etc)
Ideally experience in managing opportunities/accounts and working in/with sales teams to prepare detailed tenders
Technical experience, competency and understanding of the solution (Primarily - Sprinkler Systems & Standards)
Experience in the Contracting/Construction industry
