Surgical Care, T heatre Team Leader, Whiston Hospital
Band 6, 37.5 hours per week, Permanent
An exiting opportunity has arisen for a qualified ODP or RGN to join our busy Theatre Team as a Team Leader.
We are located in St Helens Hospital and form part of the Day Case Unit which incorporates a busy Day Ward accommodating approx. 50 to 70 patients per day. Our operating times are Monday to Saturday including evening theatre lists.
Experience in Theatre is essential and applicants must be registered with the NMC or HCPC and must be enthusiastic, flexible, self-motivated and have a commitment to provide quality patient care within the peri-operative phase of the patient’s journey.
The Trust has a combined bed capacity of approximately 875 beds at Whiston and St Helens hospitals and provides a full range of acute in-patient, out-patient, day case and emergency services to the local communities of St Helens, Knowsley, Halton and Liverpool, extending to Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and the Isle of Man with the Regional Plastic Surgery and Burns Unit.
