The Psychology Department at the University of Sheffield is among the largest in the UK, and has been consistently ranked as
one of the outstanding research departments in all seven UK Research Assessment Exercises to date. We are looking for a
Student Support Officer to join our administration team supporting our post graduate students and academic members of
staff. You will support the student journey from first point of contact through to the application and admissions process.
You will provide a welcoming customer focused, professional reception service dealing with a range of enquiries from staff,
students and visitors. You will also provide administrative support to postgraduate activities for the department and be
responsible, as part of a team, for the smooth running of the departmental office, as well as working with the team to
maintain high levels of student satisfaction.
You will have 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above including Mathematics and English, or equivalent qualifications and previous
similar administrative experience, working in a busy office environment.
