We are looking for Maternity Cover for our Head of Events to join our Fundraising team in London.
Working nationally, the DofE Fundraising Department raises funds through three income streams – Corporate Partnerships, Major Gifts and Events. In 2016 we diversified our events programme to deliver a Diamond Challenge to celebrate our 60th Anniversary attracting over 14,000 ‘challengers’ who ran, cycled and baked raising £1.5m in the process. This unprecedented success led to the development of a new team to diversify our event programme.
Our Events team is a passionate team of specialists with experience of delivering sporting, mass, special and challenge events. The team has a dual role within fundraising; providing project management support to our corporate and major gifts team to deliver high-value and exclusive events for supporters as well as designing events and sustainable fundraising
initiatives to engage our wider DofE network.
The Events team plays a significant role in our ability to generate income to meet our ambition of increasing the number of young people accessing the DofE in the years ahead.
