Job Description

Currently seeking an ambitious individual for a Business Administration Apprentice position.


The Business Services team forms part of the Customer Services function within the Operations Department. The jobholder will report to the Business Services Supervisor.


This role will have continual contact with both internal and external customers therefore the ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding whilst maintaining a clear focus on the objective will be key.


Role/Responsibilities

General Office Duties:

  • Assist with distributing incoming post & franking outgoing post
  • Assist with travel bookings
  • Organise business lunches
  • Greet Guests and provide tea/coffee
  • Assist with setting up of meeting rooms for events
  • Order stationery
  • Assist with social events

Business Administration Duties

  • Risk administration on Lease Administration System
  • Business Codes
  • Amendments resulting from weekly exceptions report
  • Complete world check & forces
  • Updating Alfa with daily D&B updates
  • Sort daily invoice and retype as required
  • Handle requests to Business Services email inbox, referring those you are unable to resolve to the appropriate person
  • Work HPI queues and delete and add assets as necessary
  • Chasing insurance certificate renewals
  • Assist Customer Services Co-ordinators with title clearance, copy documents and any other necessary tasks
  • Daily Scanning of New Business deal packs and any adhoc scanning
  • Logging contents of archive boxes and arranging collection by storage company

Desired Qualifications

3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above


Working week/Salary

9am-5pm, Monday-Friday
