The EU Finance Analyst assistant will be working with the internal Finance teams and other support functions including Sales & Marketing plus senior stakeholders whose decisions drive the performance of the business. The successful candidate will provide support during the annual business plan process, assist with weekly and monthly reporting requirements which provide insight into business trends and maintenance of the financial reporting suite.
The position is based in our London office (UK).
- Financial Planning: Budgeting and Forecasting
- Supporting and influencing the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of the business objectives through the provision and interpretation of key commercial and financial information to a regular cadence of reporting.
Support the preparation of the rolling performance forecasts submitted to Corporate head office as well as the Annual Business Plan.
Helping to maximise the accuracy of forecasting as well as undertaking analysis and modelling of past and future performance which will include highlighting successes and failures.
- Financial Analysis
Support the preparation of weekly/monthly results review packs for the Leadership Team.
A hands-on approach to data analysis, modelling and simulation of complex systems connected to new products and markets as well as internal processes and metrics. This includes development of statistical/mathematical models as well as validation, maintenance and enhancement with the intention to provide timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
Operational Reporting which will involve ad hoc running and creation of reports for analysis requests from internal business customers.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
2-3 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Reporting and Budget Development in technology-oriented companies.
Comprehensive understanding of the European games marketing, gained within the industry is essential. The successful candidate will have a strong commercial understanding and be well versed in the nuances of the UK and European games market and able to interpret large amount of data, generating clear trends to support executive decision making.
Ability to provide clarity of understanding from a complexity of data with Excellent problem-solving and analytic skills
Excellent system skills including advanced Excel and to become an Oracle OBIEE reporting super-user to enable provision of quality information and analysis of key financial data.
Strong communicator and experience of Business Partnering with both Finance and non-Finance individuals.
Demonstrable team player with powerful work ethic and ability to work in a time sensitive environment with tight deadlines.

Flexibility to travel in Europe and to the US if required
