Title: Customer Advisor's (8 positions available)

Salary: £15,500-£17,500 per annum
Location: Abel Smith House, Gunnels Wood Road, Stevenage, Herts, SG1 2ST
Hours: 37.5 per week between the hours of Mon-Fri 8am-8pm and Sat 9am-4pm

We are currently recruiting for 8 full time Customer Service Advisor's to work within one of our 6 service teams. We provide various services within the local authority and act as the first point of contact for all inbound calls to the HCC service. This role will predominantly be telephone based but we use a variety of methods to help our customers including webchat, email and the occasional outbound call.
About the role
You will be required to provide advice, assistance and support to citizens and businesses interacting with the council’s services. You will deal effectively with incoming customer requests ensuring they are logged and dealt with to a high standard to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Previous customer service experience is essential for this role, whilst experience of working within a call centre is desirable. Due to the nature of this role you will need to have exceptional communication skills both over the phone and in writing to convey information to customers with varying needs.
