The Homerton Hospital are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, articulate and forward thinking Nurse Assistant to support the nursing and clinical teams to support patient care in the Operating Theatres.
Theatres care for more than 1,200 patients per month in a variety of surgical specialties. The successful candidate/s will work as part of the multi-disciplinary theatre team. Full training and support will be provided but would better suit someone with healthcare experience. You will need to have a good standard of education, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be organised and have an understanding of the surgical patient pathway.
The Homerton Theatre department has 8 Main Theatres and 3 Day Stay theatres. The service also incorporates the Admissions and Discharge Lounge, Pre-assessment and Theatres.
The completion of the Quality Care Certificate is an expectation of the job role.
