Trafford Council has a fantastic opportunity for a Team Manager in our CQC rated 'Good' Supported Living Service. To manage the day to day delivery of services within theSupported Living Team and to provide leadership, management support andguidance to colleagues to assure that work is completed, ensuring thatregistration with the Care Quality Commission status is maintained andthat care and support service users receive meets essential standards ofquality and safety.
To succeed in this role you will need to have a relevant professional qualification at Level 5 in Care Management e.g. NVQ/SVQ 5, QCF Level 5 AwardCertificate or Diploma, HNC, HND, or a Level 4 in Care Management e.g. NVQ/SVQ4, QCF Level 4 Award, Certificate or Diploma. An NVQ Care Level 4, Registered Managers Award is also desirable or a willingness to work towards a registered manager qualification.
The successful candidate will ensure that we continue to deliver an efficient and effective service to the population of Trafford whilst maintaining highstandards of care to both the service users and carers to meet their assessed needs. This post offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the on-going development of innovative ways of working across social care and health in order to promote well being and independence.
You will have at least three years' experience in managing provision within ahealth and/or social care setting. You will needknowledge and understanding of supported living plus you will have theability to lead, manage and co-ordinate the service and staff, ensuringcompliance with essential standards of quality and safety in order to deliverhigh quality services, responsive to individual need.
In addition you will have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships, applying effective communication skills in a range of situations and in the ability to identify and agree objectives for the service.
