Team Leader for Product Assembly Team

Due to continued growth we are seeking to recruit a highly skilled production personnel looking for long term career prospects, Training will be provided to successful candidates.
Key duties /accountabilities as follows:
You will work as part of our self autonomous teams planning your own daily tasks,
You will set up and build Machines as well as operate a parts organising & kitting process, working as part of a committed team this important role focus on quality and efficient use of time.
Assist Production Co-ordinator with planning weekly schedule.
Follow work instructions and ensure proper operation of Machine
Ensure all components are fitted correctly,
Follow production schedule, ensuring orders are complete, Tested, packaged and despatched.
Responsible for Quality inspection, highlighting any issues, faults and Reporting quality issues
Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
Meet agreed production targets according to customer demands.
Suggest continuous improvement / best practice solutions.
Be a competent part of the production team
Proper handling of machines product and tooling at all times.
Producing quality components and on time.
or damage to the machine and its tooling
Health & Safety, safe working Practice
Proper handling of product and Parts at all times.
Quality inspection on internal and external supplied components
Experience of leading a team
Experience of assisting others to achieve their best and complete weekly target.
Experience of hand held tools essential
Qualification in or experience in Experience in a manufacturing environment.Engineering, mechanics or Coach building
Requires a focus on detail
Ability to compete paper work in precise manner
Knowledge of working with metal products.
High level of knowledge of reading and understanding numbers.
Organised and precise attitude is required
Depending on skills, but there maybe an opportunity to do other production duties
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Can read and understand instructions
Able to assemble consistently to a high standard
Able to trouble shoot and solve problems
Ability to work in a team
GCSE or equivalent (2 at Grade C) or within an Engineering Environment, Health & Safety knowledge
Current valid forklift licence is
