£26,634 per annum (rising to £28,036 after 12 months service subject to satisfactory performance)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to work in our Internal Maintenance Service Team. The successful candidate will act as a key member of the Planned Works team in the provision of an effective installation, maintenance and repairs service across a minimum of 3 trades, completing kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, based from our Swindon Office.
The role of Multi-Trade Operative will include:
Undertake allocated repairs, modernisation or other associated works within agreed timescales to a high standard whilst working under minimal supervision in GL, BS, SN and TA postcode areas
Utilise analytical and trade skills to diagnose faults and deliver effective solutions to our customers
Maintain good levels of van stocks and for procuring materials from our Supply Chain merchant. All work will be issued via a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) and you will use this to record progress and completions of jobs
Working within appropriate Health and Safety regulations you will ensure that the environment, property and occupants are safe and secure at all times
Skills and experiences:
Previous Multi-Trade experience which is checkable gained within a construction/building/maintenance background covering at least 3 trades with primary skills in carpentry, UPVC window/door installation or plumbing
Happy to commit to working 40 hours per week
Be aware of health and safety and working legislations
A company van will be provided for business use only, therefore a full, current driving licence is essential.
