About the role:
The main objective of the role is to provide operational support for the effective running of the Internal Audit team.
We are looking for a positive and motivated individual to come and help provide structure and operational rigor for our Internal Audit team. The role will be varied and flexible and will include organization behind running the team, team meetings, away day, scheduling and resourcing of internal audit projects, budgets and drafting key components of key reporting – including reporting to the Audit and Risk Committee.
IAT’s mission is to provide assurance to the Executive Board and to the Audit and Risk Committee of the Supervisory Board of PwC that effective systems and controls are in place in the organisation to manage all significant risks identified and agreed as falling within its scope. IAT supports the firm’s development of a risk management and governance framework and provides consulting and investigatory advice to the UK firm, as well as supporting the external auditors. We apply a wide range of assurance techniques, with a strong emphasis on risk management, performance improvement, financial probity and change management. The team comprises a Director, who is the Head of Internal Audit and who reports to the chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee and to the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, and a mix of senior managers, managers and associates.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

The Internal audit team needs a passionate and driven individual to help support the requirements of the team.
To provide support to the Head of Internal Audit and to other members of the team.
To maintain standing data on the Teammate system. Teammate is the electronic suite of audit working papers used by the team.
To maintain the project databases (mainly the document repository database).
To help prepare Internal Audit’s month end and quarter end reports.
To supply administrative support to any projects or procedures.
To introduce new processes around resourcing projects and cost versus budget analysis and to actively respond to resourcing requests and changes. To actively monitor the whereabouts of team members.
To monitor compliance against KPI requirements for the team.
To monitor and maintain timesheet management and location within the team.
To introduce and manage a training programme overseen by one of the team’s senior managers.
This role will be reporting to the Internal Audit senior manager team and will involve day to day interaction with the head of Internal Audit.
Previous experience of managing resource requirements would be useful.
Project management experience
Experience of independent proactive behaviour.
Good team work and influencing skills.
