We are looking for a CRM E-mail Marketing Specialist (UK & Europe) to join the Group CRM team! Located at Merlin Business Support in Chessington, you will report into the Senior CRM Campaign Manager UK and will be tasked with setting up targeted and compelling e-mail campaigns that improve our guests’ experiences, strengthen our brands and drive revenue.
An attention to detail and laser focus will be key, but so will your knack to merge creativity and data to drive memorable experiences. You’ll help craft campaigns that improve e-mail performance while making a real impact on our guests’ relationships with our brands. While setting up and deploying e-mail campaigns will be your primary focus, you’ll have meaningful exposure to marketing, IT and operations functions across the business.
You shouldn’t be a stranger to basic HTML and should have experience setting up campaigns using e-mail service providers like Cheetal Digital, Silverpop, Responsys, SalesForce, Campaign Monitor, or similar.
To ensure deployment and campaign delivery of both UK and European Merlin CRM Campaigns. Key deliverables for this role will include:
To ensure the successful set up, deployment and accurate delivery of Merlin CRM email campaigns through the use of our email deployment platform.
To ensure the successful completion of the internal Score Card report, as well as the internal deployment to key stakeholders.
To ensure the successful set up, deployment and accurate delivery of Merlin Trigger campaigns.
To ensure accurate campaign reporting.
To monitor the usage of the database, to ensure that campaign briefs are followed and to ensure that data is targeted effectively.
Ensure that all email campaigns are dynamic, creative and engaging, confirming all of the images and links are hosted correctly etc.
Supporting the delivery of ROI of CRM campaigns by appropriate data selection and targeting.
We are looking for the following skills and experience…
Ideally with a degree in Marketing, Communications, IT or related field, you will have gained some experience in an E-mail marketing or CRM role where you specifically handled campaign set-ups.
An obsessive attention to detail despite working to tight deadlines and quick turnarounds. You’ll always be thinking one step ahead.
Understanding or experience with relational data tables required.
Strong skills with email service providers and marketing automation technologies.
Experience in CheetahMail or Experian’s Cross-Channel Marketing Platform (CCMP) would be a HUGE plus.
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS as it relates to e-mail.
Ideally experience with Litmus & cross-platform QA.
