The Winfield Hospital is currently looking for an experienced individual to provide administrative support to our Medical Records Department on a bank basis.
Winfield Hospital, located on the outskirts of Gloucester is a leading provider of Private and NHS healthcare. We are currently looking for bank medical records clerks to assist as and when required.
The successful candidates must have:
- Numerical efficiency
- Able to manage/prioritise own workload
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A good communicator – must be able to engage with people in a friendly and professional manner
2 Preparation of Admissions List (to include retrieving of existing patient files)
3 Preparation of new patient files for patient admission
4 Patient notes retrieved or new files prepared
5. Tracker system updated
6. Patient notes pulled regularly for audits and secretarial requests
7. Filing correspondence/results on a daily basis
The post is on a bank basis working Monday to Friday (evenings/late afternoons) and can include weekends with mutual agreement.
Previous experience in a hospital environment would be preferable. An understanding of how to file notes in a systematic order is essential.
