About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated events officer to join our fast paced team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and implementation of events to generate income and awareness for Leonard Cheshire.
You will be responsible for delivering fundraising activities and engaging supporters, through effective communication and project management.
You will contribute to the development of the events strategy, manage the work of volunteers, input into the budgeting process and keep abreast of development within the external fundraising environment.
You will have demonstrable experience of organising and promoting (ideally fundraising) events. You will have experience of using a database to manage participant data and have some understanding of using the data to generate reports. You will have good interpersonal and presentation skills, be able to initiate and organise projects to completion. You will adept at working on your own initiative and be able to travel and stay away overnight when required.
