Our divisional HR Directors work with their business areas to ensure that the people at the core of our organisation are able to work as effectively as possible allowing us to continue to make great content.
We are now looking for an experience Team Assistant or PA to support one of our divisional HR Director's in the following areas:
Radio & Education - Home to eight of the the BBC's national radio stations, four of the BBC's six Performing Groups, the BBC Proms as well as classical and pop music production across radio, television and online.
Content - Consists of BBC One, Two, Three, Four, BBC Films, Sport and iPlayer.
Children In Need - This is the BBC's UK charity, who aim to make a positive difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
You will sit within the HR team acting as a PA, supporting the HR Director for Radio & Education and Content in the following:
To manage diary requests, book travel and/or accommodation where required
Complete administrative tasks to a high standard
To work, where required, to support projects across BBC HR
To provide answers confidently based on data and understanding of policy and process
To provide requests / query resolution service to employees under guidance from the HRBP
Able to use People systems (including SAP), able to access and enter data into relevant systems and ensuring data quality
To produce analysis and recommendations to HRBP or members of staff
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has knowledge and understanding of HR, and who would like to develop their potential further by working in a busy HR environment. Working in HR involves handling personal information, the nature of which can be sensitive; therefore, respecting confidentiality is key, as in managing data with confidence.
Additionally to this, we require to have:
Experience of providing administration support in at least one organisation.
Experience of working as a Personal or Team Assistant in HR, supporting more than one Director in senior leadership
Organised with ability to prioritise own workload effectively, multitasking and co-ordinate activities and conflicting demands to ensure that tight deadlines are met.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to work well and build relationships with range of people at all levels, particularly with senior leadership.
Ability to research, gather, analyse, collate and present information as required.
Experience of managing and diverting queries.
The ability to analyse, source and coordinate queries.
Ability to use SAP, excel, powerpoint and Microsoft office products.
Experience of preparing budgets and tracking spending.
