Teaching Assistant (Classroom Support and Outdoor Learning)
Salary: Grade 2, £10,409 - £11,164
12 month contract (temp) to December 31st 2018
30 hours per week, Term-Time only
Required for January 2018
The Governors, staff and pupils at Springvale Primary School are excited to be recruiting for a Grade 2 Teaching Assistant who can meet the needs of our fantastic children and community. We are seeking ambitious and driven professionals who are willing to work with us in our journey to outstanding and support us in driving forward our School Aims to ensure that every child reaches their full potential. The applicant needs to be committed to ensuring the highest standards in children's education by working as part of a brilliant team to ensure that the wellbeing, behaviour and personal development of pupils enhances their learning opportunities and life skills.
Successful applicants must be willing to work alongside children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to plan for and deliver tailored and personalised interventions that allow all children to access a high quality mainstream education, as well as supporting all children to develop socially during outdoor play. Within the classroom, they should be determined to continually drive their own professional development to ensure the highest of standards for all children within the community with the children at the heart of everything that they do.
Applicants must have at least 2 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above including English and Maths. Lunchtime activities and outdoor learning will be a key feature of this role so if you are someone who enjoys outdoor learning, whatever the weather, please get in touch!
