EAST SURREY HOSPITAL
Surrey and Sussex NHS Healthcare Trust are looking for enthusiastic Trust Doctors (ST1 level) to join us in various departments throughout our hospital.
We can offer employment in the following specialities for 6 months (reviewable)
The positions are as follows:
January – August 2018
Acute & Emergency Medicine/Respiratory/Endocrine & Diabetes/Geriatrics/Cardiology/Gastroenterology and Stroke Medicine.
We are looking for applicants with UK experience who also have excellent team-working skills with the abilities and professional skills to work well in a multi-professional team.
This post would suit doctors who have a keen interest in education and there will be opportunities for simulation training, teaching and quality improvement work.
Trust doctors wishing to explore career development will be actively supported in doing so and will be provided with a supervising Consultant to assist toward ePortfolio development, completion of Foundation Training Equivalency and preparation for CMT and GPVTS application.
Doctors who are enthusiastic about working in a strong team of committed physicians to deliver excellent care to patients across a variety of clinical settings will be rewarded with a wide and rewarding clinical experience.
Based at East Surrey Hospital, the post-holder will be a key member of the medical team with a clear role in ensuring comprehensive care for their inpatients and providing acute assessment on presentation.
The successful candidate will join a team of multi-disciplinary staff in providing comprehensive care for their inpatients and emergency admissions. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be committed to delivering clinical and quality targets agreed both nationally and locally with the clinical teams and commissioners.
Senior support is available from the Middle grades and the Consultant on-call who is readily available.
