Regional Trainer Jobs Vacancy at Daiichi Sankyo Jobs Details:

To work in conjunction with Managers within the sales team to provide coaching and Training support is in line with the overall Business strategy and development plan. To report on-going progress of individuals to Line Managers and to support and facilitate individual ownership of learning and development plans and activities. Responsible for the planning, development and delivery of all aspects of Initial Training Courses for new starters in head office and for field based roles.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, plan, manage and deliver field and head office based induction development programmes for all new company employees that achieves the highest possible level of employee effectiveness in role, and integration into the organisation in the shortest possible timeframe.
    • Blended learning techniques and innovative training solutions required
    • Develops and nurtures L&D communities within the organisation
    • Ensures all company employees are able to record their L&D activities at Daiichi Sankyo
    • Sales Academy pass rates & successful completion of an individuals’ probation period
    • Successful completion and assessment of HO Induction process
    • Effectively manages a network of internal and external resources
    • Implementation of rigorous performance standards ensures that all new recruits achieve a desired benchmark of quality
  • Design, plan, manage and, where required, deliver field based learning/development interventions that are made available to all field based roles within the organisation. This is achieved by designing and undertaking a robust and thorough learning needs analysis of every individual/team to ensure optimal success, and return on the learning investment
    • Innovative learning and development solutions that maximise customer facing time
    • Use of technology and high level stakeholder engagement to support facilitation of best practice in field based roles
    • Evidence that learning and development activities undertaken by the Regional Trainer promotes and encourages self ownership of performance development plans by field based employees
  • In consultation with the Sales Managers develop an appropriate training plan ensuring this is aligned with a KAM approach
    • To undertake regular field visits with all Daiichi Sankyo sales representatives
    • To carry out field visits using an appropriate coaching structure and to the required company standards
    • To communicate with Line Managers on a regular basis and agree training objectives to be developed with representatives. The outputs to be communicated to the Line Manager verbally and through written reports within given timeframes
    • To prepare , plan and arrange field visits and training sessions to fulfil identified needs
    • To run sessions at Regional meetings
    • To prepare run and facilitate sessions on Initial Training Courses
    • To follow up and reinforce the principles of all in-house training programmes
    • To carry out training needs analysis with Representatives to help them formulate their development plan
    • To follow the Representatives development plan in a consistent and supportive way
    • Construct fair and relevant reports on field visits in line with the Representatives development plan
    • To build on this plan in agreement with the Representative and the Line Manager
    • To assist Line Manager in recruiting new team members and participate at the first stage of interviews where possible
    4. Design, plan, manage all ITCs and where required other head office based learning/development interventions that are made available to the organisation.
    • These interventions incorporate blended learning techniques, and are innovatively designed to meet the commercial needs of the organisation.
    • ITCs are planned regularly throughout the year and are flexible to accommodate business needs
    • All aspects of the ITCs including venue selection, invitation, logistical organisation and presenter co-ordination are manged by the Regional Trainer
    5. Design, plan, manage, and where appropriate, deliver on learning & development interventions that support KAM throughout the organisation
    • Researches latest KAM developments that may be suitable for Daiichi Sankyo’s requirements
    • Develops a strong working relationship with DSE training to gain their support for initiatives
    • Manage and keep up to date all training records for the Daiichi Sankyo business on the identified training platform
    • Ensure compliance with completion of training modules across the business
    6. Takes a lead on product/disease knowledge training for all relevant employees. This responsibility exists for current promoted products, and for new products that have anticipated launches over the next few years. Additionally this individual is responsible for leading on NHS knowledge training to ensure that all relevant employees are able to proficiently demonstrate a benchmark quality level of market environment knowledge.
    • Active participation in brand forums
    • Plan, design, manage and deliver on existing promoted product/disease training
    • Plan, design, manage and deliver on new promoted product/disease training
    • Project manages and leads on NHS knowledge training
    • Develops an internal network of experts and champions
    7. Continuously develop own professional skills & knowledge in order to make a valued contribution to the development of individual and team performance at Daiichi Sankyo.
