Trainee Substance Misuse Worker Month Ftc Jobs Vacancy at Phoenix Futures Jobs Details:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is customer focused and results-driven with some experience within the field of substance misuse. You will have a good understanding of therapeutic interventions and be able to demonstrate that you are used to engaging with substance misuse, as well as being adept at partnership working and multi-agency liaison.
You will be given the opportunity to support service users to address substance misuse and to re-integrate fully into meaningful activity. This will include the opportunity to deliver structured groups, after satisfactory training has been completed.
As a Trainee Substance Misuse Worker, you will work closely with the team responsible for engaging service users through our recovery system and support the team as they provide a range of interventions, primarily in a group setting. You will assist in developing and running a range of group work activities to support individuals, using relevant and recognised theoretical models. In doing so this will help long-term service users to achieve their recovery goals and help them change their lives.
The intention is to equip you to gain the skills required in order to develop your career through experience within the role and
attending and participating fully in Phoenix run workshops and training sessions.
