Job Description:
To provide extensive administrative support for the Financial Markets Advisory (FMA) Global Chief Operating Officer, based in London, plus ad-hoc support for the Global Head of FMA, based in NY, and the Deputy Head of EMEA FMA, based in Frankfurt, when in London. Furthermore, provide expense-management and travel-booking assistance to a team of ten employees.

Key Responsibilities:
Diary management, including organising internal and external meetings

Communicating & building relationships with key internal assistants

Booking and making all necessary arrangements for business travel

Handling expenses using Concur system (training will be provided)

Comprehensive email coverage

Faxing, filing, photocopying

Liaising with facilities, post room, print room

Ad-hoc project work

Knowledge/Experience:
Proven experience working in a similar role within financial services

Experience in arranging meetings, coordinating diaries and updating PowerPoint presentations

Ability to work independently and calmly in a multi-task fast-paced environment whilst being self-motivated and flexible

Proactive, mature and professional approach

Proven team-player with a can-do approach

Ability to deal calmly and diplomatically with variety of clients and senior personnel

Ability to represent the division and BlackRock to the highest standard following the principles of partnership, integrity and excellence

Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook

Excellent verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills

Strong Administrative skills

Comfortable dealing with individuals of all levels of seniority
