Internal Communications Coordinator Jobs Vacancy at Estee Lauder London Jobs Details:

As a member of the UK Corporate Communications team, the Internal Communications Coordinator supports the day-to-day development and execution of enterprise-wide regional communications. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Internal Communications, the Coordinator plays a vital role in the support and smooth implementation of employee communications and the deployment of key corporate strategic initiatives. They help to implement the internal communications strategy to provide effective communication of relevant corporate information to staff and stakeholders and help build a culture where two-way internal communication is seen as fundamental and integral to the success of the organisation and its staff.

The Internal Communications function sits within the wider Corporate Communications Team, a dynamic team which supports the UK business across four key areas: Internal Communications, External Affairs, Philanthropy & Corporate Responsibility and Crisis & Issues Mitigation.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Corporate Internal Communications:

o Act as the day-to-day lead on key internal communications channels including regional intranet, enterprise social media platforms and digital signage.

o Provide strategic support and training to business functions in the creation and management of intranet subsites.

o Assist with the planning and creation of company-wide internal communications initiatives including CSR, strategy deployment etc.

o Maintain Corporate Internal Communications cross-channel editorial calendar for regular updates, email blasts, enterprise-wide announcements, etc. Liaise with appropriate teams to schedule communications, draft content and secure approvals prior to dissemination. Update editorial calendar in real-time and flag conflicts across channels.

o Assist in the creation of regional corporate communications materials for various audiences, such as statements, Q&As, talking points, presentations, memos, briefing books, etc.

o Create and edit video content to be used across the suite of internal communications channels.

o Creation of visual assets to be used across the suite of internal communications channels.

o Proof and edit written communications to ensure consistency and alignment with corporate messaging.

o Partner closely with the external communications team to collaborate on internal/external communications material creation and align project timelines.

o Support logistical execution of global communications plans by ensuring deadlines are met, coordinating meetings with key business partners, distributing materials and enterprise-wide communications.

o Liaise with external vendors as directed.

o Work with brands and functions as a trusted advisor to provide guidance on business campaigns.

o Producing monthly internal communications reports and providing analysis to assess the effectiveness of internal communications initiatives.

o Support executive speaking engagement requests as directed by Senior Manager.

Leadership Communications:

o Manage logistics and execution for special projects for the UK SVP,GM, such as video communications and key internal speaking engagements/events. Create project timelines, draft briefing materials and coordinate meetings.

Team Support:

o Proactively bring issues and recommended solutions to Senior Manager’s attention.

o Act as team liaison with Finance; manage vendor POs and invoices on project-by-project basis.

Qualifications

o Extensive Internal Communications experience, gained from a medium or large organisation in the prestige/beauty/retail sector

o A good knowledge of communications channels including intranet, enterprise social media, emails, newsletters, news stories, webinars, video and social media is essential

o Experience of working on large scale internal communications events including all company meetings

o Excellent verbal and written communications skills required, with the demonstrated ability to write for various audiences in multiple formats.

o Able to handle multiple projects gracefully and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Solid follow up skills.

o Poised, professional, proactive and positive attitude.

o Strong interpersonal skills with a win-win approach to collaboration and relationship-building.

o Detail- and process-oriented, organised, resourceful and initiative-driven.

o Able to handle highly confidential information with sensitivity, integrity and good judgment.

o Able to gain solid understanding of the Company's corporate strategy and financial measures.

o Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, CMS and Keynote.
