We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Communications Officer to support our Communications Manager in the execution of the Company's internal and external communication strategies. This will include supporting in the development and maintenance of new and existing communication channels, generating quality content for print and digital, liaising with the media and stakeholder engagement. You will help to develop our employer brand and work with all key departments across the business including HR, Operations, Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain and IT.
Key tasks will include sourcing and writing material including news & announcements, press releases, reactive statements, Q&As, presentations and case studies as well as the maintenance of the internal magazine, intranet, website and digital signage.
The successful candidate will possess persuasive written and spoken communication skills and will ideally have a proven track record in internal communications, PR and/or journalism. You will possess strong organisation and prioritisation skills, will be effective at building and maintaining relationships and comfortable working autonomously or as part of a team. This is a dynamic and creative role and as a proactive, self-starter possessing creative thinking you will have the scope to make it your own. Experience or knowledge of digital communications is an advantage.
