Health Care Support Worker
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for you to have a key role in our acute admission ward within Parklands Hospital. The Unit is situated in Basingstoke and provides intensive support for patients in a period of acute psychiatric illness. We also provide care for Ministry of Defence serving personnel who need an in-patient admission. Our aim is to provide high quality integrated recovery focussed care to make a positive difference to the health, well-being and independence of the people in Hampshire.
You will be working with a supportive, motivated, friendly and dedicated team of staff whilst actively supporting the implementation of a recovery focused service with an Intensive Support programme. We are keen for our Healthcare Support Workers to bring new ideas to the ward promoting the health and wellbeing of our service users by actively promoting and supporting the running of a group programme which includes therapeutic and social groups.
