Clinical Haematology –
Registered General Nurse - Hammersmith Hospital
The haematology unit at Hammersmith Hospital is a specialist centre using the latest technological and therapeutic advancements in care. The centre operates one of the largest stem cell transplant (SCT) Programmes in Europe and specialises in providing exceptional care for patients with blood diseases such as leukaemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, sickle cell disease, aplastic anaemia, as well as, clotting disorders including haemophilia. We have three dedicated in-patient wards with a total of 50 beds, as well as day care services.
We have an exciting position in our haematology department at Hammersmith Hospital which offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a great team and develop key skills sets and experience. Previous experience in clinical haematology is not essential as we are committed to the professional development of our staff and provide a variety of educational and training opportunities co-ordinated and supported by our senior nursing team which includes a dedicated Practice Development nurse.
