Prescott House Community Mental Health Team is one of three Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) serving Salford.Â It is an integrated specialist team which serves the local community and offers a range of therapeutic interventions and treatments for adults over the age of 16 with severe and enduring mental health issues.
An exciting and varied opportunity has arisen for an experienced receptionist. We are looking for somebody withÂ excellent keyboard and data inputting skills, demonstrating precision and attention to detail.Â You will be responsible for providing clinical administration and reception support; Â receiving and greeting service users and their carerâs whilst accurately recording relevant information and clinical outcomes onto the Electronic Patient Record. Â
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both face to face and over the telephone, with a wide range of visitors and health care professionals is essential. Â You will have previous experience of working in a busy reception area with the ability and understanding of working flexibly within a Multi-Disciplinary Team environment yet have the confidence to work independently as required.Â You will work closely with other members of the admin team in ensuring a comprehensive administrative and clerical function.
You will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (or equivalent) in the first instance, with opportunities to further develop and enhance your skills.
This appointment will be subject to a satisfactory completion of a 6 month probationary period for new starters to the Trust. You will receive all necessary training and support during this period. Further details are contained within the Trustâs Performance Improvement policy.
All positions with the Trust are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks. This position is also subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. If successful in your application the Trust will pay the initial cost of the DBS, currently Â£47.69 and this will be reclaimed from your first two salary payments.
