SUMMARY
This role requires a fundamental grasp of instructional design best practices and a passion for creating engaging, challenging training for a variety of applications. A level of creativity and analytical skill which they will use to create learning content for a variety of both technical and non-technical purposes. Comfortable working in a collaborative environment and have a good fundamental grasp of both web-based and instructor-led training delivery methods and developmental processes.

EDUCATION:
Degree preferable.

EXPERIENCE:
Graduate or 1-2 years’ experience designing courseware in the Training/Learning field. Working knowledge of Storyline and / or Captivate. LMS/LCMS Knowledge. Expertise in MS Office Suite. Adobe Creative Cloud suite knowledge preferable. Customer Service/Project Management skills/experience preferable.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
ORGANIZATION: A high degree of organization and time management, and be able to handle multiple workflows simultaneously.
LEADERSHIP: Take ownership of projects and demonstrate leadership when directing course development direction and have a strong sense of completing a job to required quality standards.
DRIVE: Be driven to succeed and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
ANALYSIS: Possess strong analytical skills to collate and understand source materials and information from SME's and stakeholders.
COMMUNICATION: Excellent communication skills in both verbal and non-verbal format is essential. Should be generally outgoing and comfortable working with others.
CREATIVITY: A strong sense of problem solving through creative practice and be able to innovate to provide both visually and conceptually striking training products.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Shows an awareness of TNA processes & participate in TNA activities to understand customers training needs.
Participates in research and make recommendations for the deployment of existing training technologies to solve market challenges.
Is able to assist in communication with end customers to effectively manage relationships across projects.
Works well with others to build courses, is able to effectively communicate design intent on any given project.
Builds effective storyboards in clear layouts that contain simple designs, interactions and multimedia content.
Describes and displays knowledge of at least one or two frameworks/practices and apply them to the design and development of course material.
Has a good basic grasp of technical requirements for any given project from the outset.
Can work to deadlines and is comfortable working to time and cost restrictions on any given project. Has an awareness of how to estimate time it may take for a job and a good grasp of fundamental scheduling methods.
Is able to create digital or instructor-led content that gives good results at a level 1 on the Kirkpatrick scale for training effectivity.
Has knowledge/experience of one or two industries and their working methods. Shows some adaptability to different information and process types.
