This role requires an excellent grasp of instructional design best practices and a passion for creating engaging, challenging training for a variety of applications. Ability to display a high level of creativity and analytical skill which they will use to create learning content for a variety of both technical and non-technical purposes. Be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and have an excellent grasp of both web-based and instructor-led training delivery methods and developmental processes. Ability to demonstrate a rich experience in a range of different kinds of training from analysis through to delivery.
Degree or similar level Qualification preferable in relevant field.
5+ years’ experience developing courseware in the L&D/E-Learning field. Sound functional knowledge of both Captivate and Storyline. LMS/LCMS Knowledge preferable. Expertise in MS Office Suite. Adobe Suite Knowledge preferable. Customer Service/Project Management skills.

Has a high degree of familiarity of application & practice of TNA processes & is able to lead analysis projects, potentially creating in-depth analysis that creates a full data-driven picture of organizational training needs.
Independently leads research for the deployment of both existing emerging training technology, to be able to conduct comparative analysis of solutions to solve market challenges.
Is an expert at building relationships with customers that exceed their expectations? Be able to conduct themselves with clarity and professionalism at all times to achieve effective learning outcomes and generate 'champions' for CDG within our partner/customer organizations.
Works well with others to build courses, is able to communicate effectively, especially to communicate intent on any given project, understands team requirements to be able to produce required work. Can build task lists with the team, and takes ownership of any given project that will ensure work is delivered on time and on budget.
Builds effective storyboards in clear, creatively designed layouts that contain at least some comparatively complex interactions or multimedia content, should it be needed and adapts to the requirement of the job. Incorporates best design practice to create visually striking content.
Should have a functional knowledge of training development software to be able to provide strong instruction multimedia direction throughout storyboard development and be able to support development solutions where necessary.
Fully capable of putting pedagogical knowledge into practical application. Methodologies should be clearly apparent from material flow and progression of course material. Is highly aware training best practice is delivered in both synchronous and asynchronous learning formats, and makes appropriate recommendations to customers at any point in a design process based on this knowledge.
Is aware of all major the technical requirements for any given project from the outset, utilizing a basic understanding of production software to communicate the requirements effectively to the team and the customer.
Can work to deadlines and is comfortable working to time and cost restrictions on any given project. Is proactive identifying risks resources at the beginning of a project before problems occur. Can estimate time and resources effectively, and can work in an agile/sprint format with others, taking a lead role where necessary.
Has a good grasp on the implications of training effectivity across the enterprise and industry, and develops excellent blended learning solutions to give good results at level 4 on the Kirkpatrick scale for training effectivity.
Has knowledge/experience of working in three or more industries and their working methods. Is adaptable to both technical and non-technical content. Can also cite industry standards/requirements to understand customer expectations for any given project.
