This is a high profile regulatory role, which supports the UBS clients who are signed up to the UBS EMIR Delegated Reporting Service.
The successful candidate will partner with the UBS clients signed up to the EMIR Delegated Reporting service to ensure they have the necessary information to carry out their obligations under the EMIR Delegated Reporting Regulations. The successful candidate will be one of the client contacts throughout the lifecycle of the clients relationship with UBS and the Delegated Reporting service. The role also requires interaction with internal UBS Sales team as well as facing off to numerous internal departments within UBS globally.
This role sits within the EMIR Client Service team, which is part of the Investment Banking Operations division within the UBS Group. The team are a regulatory Client facing team. The team also work very closely with a number of internal areas of the bank, including Front Office & Sales, Middle Office, Client Onboarding teams, Change Management, Legal & Compliance and I.T.
The team perform investigation and resolve any client reporting issues to ensure completeness, accuracy and timely reporting for clients who are signed up to the UBS Delegated Reporting Service. The team are also responsible for maintaining the UBS-client relationship from an EMIR perspective.
This service includes transaction / valuation and collateral reporting to UK Regulators for all Asset classes including Rates, Credit, FX, Equity and ETD.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to articulate findings both written and verbally to team and clients, as the role requires interaction with many different people in an intense environment
- Strong relationship management skills, from both an external and internal client perspective
- Quick learner, with a mature attitude to responsibility and confident working as a team member or under own initiative
- Prior EMIR Regulatory experience is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills. Able to manage high volumes of client requests and identify resources required to complete tasks to a high standard
- Strong Excel skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
