Cargiant is recruiting an Administration Assistant to join our busy and fast-paced Workshop. The Workshop Administration Assistant role at Cargiant is a challenging one which requires skilled individuals to maintain, update and make sure that all data related to vehicles is up to date and entered onto the company's database correctly and efficiently.

Cargiant is the world's largest car dealership with 7000 vehicles in stock and retail sales of over 1000 cars per week! It's taken 30 years of planning to assemble the 45 acre site that serves our current business and future expansion plans. What you will do:
Input all work that has been carried out on vehicles on to the company’s database

Make sure the unit 5 scheduler dates, notes and location are updated on a regular basis

Make sure all the office stock is replenished

Maintain vehicle job records by recording service, repairs and inspections on a daily basis

Move vehicles when required within workshops area in a safe manner observing company policies as per company handbook and Health and Safety manual

Complete parts request forms, collect parts from parts dept. and report to office

Report any broken, faulty, damaged equipment to management team

Make new vehicle registration plates

Booking in and out specialist tools equipment and reference materials staff


What you will need:
Full and valid driving licence

Excellent communication skills

Organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure

Attention to detail and accuracy

Professional, polite and pro-active

Flexibility and adaptability

Working knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the motor trade
