Warwick Endoscopy Unit is committed to delivering a high quality patient focused service, which consists of performing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
This is a new and exciting position will work in the Endoscopy Department as a Performance Manager. This role will be administering all the elective and emergency activity through the Endoscopy Department.
You will be expected to manage the scheduling systems and waiting list for all elective and surveillance patients to ensure they are seen within the national waiting time guidelines, in conjunction with various General Managers. The successful candidate will be expected to attend relevant performance meetings.
The post holder will be providing day to day line management to the Booking team, facilitating a team approach and culture located within the Endoscopy department, whilst establishing and maintaining robust and effective communication systems with the clinical teams.
This is a varied, challenging role, and is likely to develop further. The successful candidate will need to have relevant experience and be prepared to work at multiple levels as well as be part of the booking team.
The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of individuals and expects all staff to share this commitment. As part of our safe recruitment practice, it is a mandatory requirement for all newly appointed staff requiring a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to be registered with the DBS Update Service. All eligible staff recruited to the Trust are expected to maintain their annual update subscription whilst employed with the Trust as a condition of employment. The cost of the first year’s subscription to the update service will be reimbursed by the Trust as a payroll refund.
