Inclusion Barnet are a pioneering charity focussing on providing support to those with disabilities in the local area. They are a peer-led organisation, with nearly all of their staff having personal experience of disability. They believe in the social model of disability, which means that society creates disability by failing to include people with impairments. They seek to challenge this through promoting inclusion and independent living, so disabled people can have choice and control over their lives. Inclusion provides a range of truly life changing services including sport provision and fundraising for other local charities
In April 2017 Inclusion Barnet took over the running of East Barnet library and South Friern library in partnership with Barnet Council.
