Real Estate And Operational Support Manager London Jobs Vacancy at Allianz Global Corporate Specialty London Jobs Details:

Based in London and reporting to the Real Estate and operational Support Manager, Europe, you will be expected to lead and manage the Real Estate & Operational Support (REOS) department for AGCS in London. You will have to create a solid foundation to provide high quality operational support services and real estate expertise to all lines of business while maximizing the return on investment. In addition you will be expected to ensure the best environment for growth and production while providing superior customer service and innovation. People Management
##Lead team according to Allianz standards and with highest integrity
##Drive achievement of agreed personal and business targets and actively encourage individual development. Complete the performance management process by the established due dates
##Differentiate compensation, rewards and recognition. Work closely with line manager to build staff succession/contingency plans

Budget/Financial Management
##Oversee the local accommodation and facilities budgets up to €10M and work closely with Finance/Accounting on items including accounting treatments, depreciation, accruals, and actuals against plan
##Manage budget, actuals, cost centers and key performance indicators within established targets
##Continuously identify and drive cost savings opportunities and efficiencies
##Oversee and manage the key performance indicators for the territory/region and define/initiate opportunities to improve service while containing costs

Real Estate Portfolio
##Oversee and manage the real estate portfolio and ensure that real estate projects are completed within scope, budget and timeframes
##Oversee, plan, organize and coordinate any moves/relocation/restack activities. Seek opportunities to co-locate with other Allianz OE's when there are financial/business benefits
##Reduce the like for like facilities costs. Adhere to the PMO process for real estate projects and complete the required paperwork including cost benefit analysis and net present value calculations
##Implement the Global Accommodation Standards

Process Management
##Translate new processes and systems and drive the continuous improvement in effectiveness and efficiency of all processes and systems

Facilities Management / Operational Support
##Implement and monitor guidelines for strategies. Maintain a safe and pleasant work environment for the organization
##Manage and optimize vendors accordingly so that key services/goods are performed/delivered within expectations
##Define and initiate changes and developments in the provision of workplace support
##Define and interpret Service level agreements and key performance indicators
##Meet all Health & Safety obligations and optimize service provision while containing and minimizing costs
##Procurement: Oversee an efficient, cost effective procurement process and effectively manage vendors for non-IT commodities/services, including premises/facilities and AGCS own insurance program
##Leverage suppliers/spend across AGCS globally and with other Allianz OE’s

Business Continuity
##Co-ordinate regional business continuity planning and administration while supporting global directives
##Support the regional REOS Business Continuity Plan and recovery efforts when emergency events occur
##Identify key REOS systems/personnel where back up plans needs to be developed
##Ensure that personnel are familiar with the business continuity plans and their responsibilities

Health, Safety & Environment
##Understand the application of the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974 and other legislation relevant to the Companies business
##Oversee and ensure all “assessments” as required by legislation are conducted and reviewed at relevant intervals and to maintain records of the same
##Conduct health and safety inspections and prepare reports of all the company’s operations
##Act as deputy, from time to time, at regional Health & Safety Committee meetings Required experience
##Solid business acumen with significant business services and operational experience. Good knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g. health and safety)
##Excellent knowledge in budgetary or financial planning or cost controlling
##Sound project management skills

Required education
##University Degree or similar recognized qualification
##Qualification from the British Institute of Facilities Management preferred, or ideally an MBA.
