We are currently seeking committed and numerically minded graduates with a keen interest and desire to progress within the finance and banking field. As part of our middle office team, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and put your problem solving skills to work, while interacting with and learning from business partners across all areas of the bank, providing you with excellent exposure to the industry.
The Governance team is responsible for ensuring that TR Ops work in accordance with current regulations and enterprise wide standards. This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role across all areas of Governance. The successful candidate will help shape and embed our core governance structures, oversee breach management, produce function-related management information and be part of shaping and delivering the training and communication agendas.
The Governance team is responsible for ensuring that Transaction Reporting Operations work in accordance with current regulations and enterprise wide standards.
The team provides a centralised risk, control and governance framework.
This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role across all areas of Governance.
The successful candidate will help shape and embed our core governance structures, oversee breach management, produce function-related management information and be part of shaping and delivering the training and communication agendas.
Skills and Experience we look for:
Basic exposure to and appreciation of the regulatory trade and transaction reporting landscape
Experience of working in Banking Middle Office, Operations or other relevant functions and/or experience of working in a risk & control environment
Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint and collaboration tools (e.g. SharePoint)
Able to work diverse stakeholder community
Good quantitative / qualitative analysis skills
Experience in producing MI reports and tracking reportable MI would be beneficial
Experience of having worked with workflow management tools (e.g. JIRA) would be beneficial
Exposure to project management or project coordination would be beneficial
Experience in supporting a Governance function would be an advantage
Proven understanding of Risk Frameworks and tools that aid reducing the risk profile would be an advantage
