Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies (CICT) is a forward thinking centre of learning. CICT is part of the Confetti Media Group, which is owned by Nottingham Trent University increasing the opportunities for growth and success over the coming years.
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are now looking for a Student Support Officer to join our Student Services Team. As a Student Support Officer, you will work with a caseload of ‘at risk’ students and support them to succeed. You will work as part of the Student Services team to support staff and students with their individual needs, whilst adhering to our safeguarding policy. Working with the Pastoral Support Coordinator you will implement support plans in conjunction with the curriculum teaching teams. As part of the role you will offer support and guidance regarding wellbeing support, financial support available to both FE and HE students, advice regarding accommodation and also supporting/referring students who may be subject to possible harm or abuse.
It is essential that you are qualified to level 3 (or Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy) and have experience of working within an educational environment. You must have strong PC and communication skills and be able to maintain confidentiality at all times. You will have an eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure. You will also be comfortable adapting to new initiatives as well as effective at building relationships.
