In this role, you have the opportunity to
build a successful career at an exciting & innovative employer on a Supply Chain graduate scheme starting in September 2018 at Philips AVENT. As a Supply Chain graduate you will join Philips as a Graduate Master Production Scheduler in which you will prepare and communicate weekly production plans, ensuring optimization of production runs in relation to capacities as communicated by the Value Streams, with optimal balance between production load, delivery times, supply levels and stock levels. You will bring value to our organization by fulfilling a unique and flexible role in which you translate the vision of Philips into innovative process improvements. Working closely with cross-functional Supply Chain teams you will identify and implement Supply Chain improvement initiatives.

The 2 year graduate scheme where you will have the opportunity to show your energy, knowledge and skills in Supply Chain. You will have strong support networks with managers, mentors and current graduates who are currently on the scheme.
Although you will be globally mobile, you will initially be based at our UK manufacturing site in Glemsford (AVENT). Philips AVENT is a leader in parenting and baby products. The Philips AVENT product range includes breastfeeding, bottle feeding, toddler feeding, baby monitors and newborn gifts. Many of these products are manufactured in our state of the art site in Glemsford, near Sudbury. Besides working within your individual teams and sectors, you will network with the wider organization. All new graduates are mentored by experienced colleagues and are paired up with current graduates who can help settle you into your new role and career
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- You will have achieved a minimum 2:1 in an E ngineering/Accounting/IT/ Business or analytical discipline related degree (Bachelor or Masters)
- H ave long-term/career ambitions in supply chain / operations roles. In addition, you will possess first class communication, planning and organisational skills and have great attention to detail
- You will demonstrate a high level of energy, drive and passion in pursuing work objectives and a total commitment to achieving successful outcomes.
- You will be adaptable and socially confident , enabling you to build strong relationships quickly, which will be key to your success. In essence you will already be naturally demonstrating our behaviors of Eager to win, Take Ownership and Team up to Excel. All of this will be evidenced by your strong academic results and extra curricula activities.
