We are looking for a dynamic individual who can
demonstrate a strong track record in quality assurance in further and adult
education to help our service to continually improve. The Council’s Adult
Learning service is currently rated as good by Ofsted. Our ideal candidate will
have a proven ability to work with directly employed staff and those of
delivery partners to bring about significant improvement against the standards
of Ofsted’s Common Inspection Framework.
As the Quality Manager for the Adult Learning and Employment Service you will
join a small team and implement all quality initiatives across the Service,
both directly delivered and through our subcontracted partners, to maximise
learner progress and achievement, enhancing progression. You will provide
challenge, drive and support to the Service’s delivery partners, and their
tutors, with the aim of improving performance from good to outstanding.
The successful candidate will hold a degree or significant relevant work
experience and an appropriate teaching qualification for adults and be able to
demonstrate previous success in driving up quality and standards in an
education, training and adult learning setting.
