Job description:
We currently have a great opportunity to join our Payroll Team, based at Breedon on the Hill in the East Midlands. As a Trainee Payroll Administrator you will be mentored and be a key part of the busy Payroll team, assisting with processing the in-house Payroll Service with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager, the successful candidate will assist the Payroll Team Leader in processing both weekly and monthly payrolls. Attention to detail and great communication skills are essential.

Main Duties

  • Helping with the processing of payrolls to ensure they are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assisting the Team Leader and Administrators with inputting data.
  • Contact with stakeholders regarding Payroll input requirements.
  • Supporting the Annual Audit.
  • Assisting with ad hoc payroll projects as required.
The successful candidate will
  • Possess strong Maths, English and IT skills, especially Excel.
  • Be forward thinking and a confident communicator with a good telephone manner.
  • Be organised and adaptable to a rapidly growing organisation.
