Senior Clinical Fellow
Department of Medicine for Older People
Fixed Term for 4 months
Salary; from £30,605 to £48,123
We’re looking for a Senior Clinical Fellow to join our team at Whiston Hospital commencing from August -December 2018.
This is currently a Fixed Term post for 4 months. This post would suit someone who has successfully completed their FY2 programme or equivalent, awaiting an ST3 training position or above, giving excellent experience in Medicine for Older People. The successful candidate will be based within the Department of Medicine for Older People and expected to initially manage all types of patients in the ward, organise appropriate investigations and treatment, and refer or discharge patients accordingly. To include Trust on-Calls.
Applicants must hold Full Registration with the GMC and Fitness to Practice. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.

The successful candidate would be expected to demonstrate excellent, organisational and time-management skills.
Have the ability to work as part of a team, have good interpersonal skills and demonstrate a caring attitude towards patients.
The successful candidate will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate resilience during times of pressure, but also to seek timely assistance from senior colleagues when appropriate.
