This is an exciting account exec opportunity to work across two clients, predominantly on one of the agency’s flagship consumer facing clients: a well known drinks portfolio brand (70%) and 30% on the world’s largest shipping container company. You will be working within an established planning team and the wider agency teams to deliver top quality work to the clients. This role will involve account management and multi-media (offline and online) planning with a strong focus on digital media. You will report into an Account Manager who will have the same client split.
To build understanding and planning skills across all media channels, from insight generation, to media strategy, media implementation and campaign management, to measurement / effectiveness (both in flight and post campaign)
To provide administrative support to the team including competitive insight/analysis, regional analysis, media owner support etc
To provide support in the development and presentation of strategic and implementational responses to briefs to a range of clients
Demonstrate ambition for delivering media innovation (e.g. new platforms, media firsts etc.)
Working with colleagues, other departments and media buyers either in-house or in a specialist agency
Making and maintaining good contacts with media owners
Managing and developing client relationships to build respect and trust in your judgement
Keeping on top of all things finance – from putting campaigns on the booking system, to checking buyers’ bookings against plans to confidently informing ADs/BDs when POs can be closed once the campaigns have been reconciled
Who we’re looking for:
Ideally you will come from a media agency with some experience working alongside clients
Hold a strong passion for media and advertising
An awareness of the overall media landscape, the role of each media, strengths/weaknesses and opportunities
