Working closely with our marketing and corporate communications team, the brand communication team lets the media know what's going on at L’Oreal; the latest innovations, trends, ingredients etc showcasing that we are at the cutting edge of everything beauty. In short, it keeps people talking about L’Oreal. Through traditional media, cutting-edge events, retail experiences, social media and ePR, you will seize every chance to tell the L’Oreal story.
Your task is to raise brand awareness for Garnier. Acting proactively and re-actively to the day’s news, you’ll use your contacts within the UK media to get our Garnier messages across. You will build strong media relations and secure positive product reviews from the UK’s Beauty Directors, as well as writing press releases, responding to PR requests for information and media interviews. You’ll also work with our brand ambassadors, securing media opportunities and supporting on shoots. You’ll help manage events and provide full admin support. And, to ensure consistency, you’ll align local activity with broader global communications team in Paris.
Ideally, you’ll have experience of writing and developing external communications within a fast-paced organisation. Your writing and presentation skills are impeccable. Your UK media knowledge is outstanding and you have solid relationships with key publications. Most importantly you’re passionate about PR and gung ho when it comes to landing the right message in the most influential media.
