Teaching Fellow Transport Jobs Vacancy at University College London London Jobs Details:
The Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (CEGE) at UCL is renowned for its
commitment to the highest level of excellence in research and for its creative and innovative
approach to engineering education.
The appointee will be expected to deliver teaching to under-graduate and post-graduate students at
UCL on transport topics, reflecting both the latest international research and practical experience,
with a particular focus on contributing to the joint Transport MSc with Imperial College, in areas of
transport policy, behaviour change and urban design. He/she will also develop and deliver at least
one transport- themed scenario for Engineering undergraduates, and supervise a number of special
projects undertaken by both undergraduate and post-graduates, plus carry out tutoring duties.
This is a five-year appointment for a Teaching Fellow in Transport, with a start date of 1 October
2017 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The appointee will have a doctorate and/or other postgraduate research experience in transport
studies or a related topic that, together with any research record and wider experience, establishes
their understanding of transport in general, transport policy and planning, and transport behaviour
change. They must have previous industrial experience and have developed and run successful
